Malory House Refurb
Malory House was originally bought as our residential property. We lived in it for 4 years carrying out refurbishment throughout. Our decision to get into property full time meant that we wanted to move closer to our investment area so rather than selling this property we turned it into a “Let to buy Mortgage” Under normal circumstance you buy a “Buy to Let” but because it was our residential, we had to turn it into a rental property. By doing this we managed to release some capital to then buy our new residential property and carry on investing and also a regular income from it. We have now had the same tenants in for 3 years and are extremely happy. This is a creative way of financing other projects.
