We sourced two of these two-bedroom apartments in the same block for the same Investor; one ground floor and one on the first floor above each other.
One completed before the other but only a week difference, so we were able to double up on the orders and leave the goods in the upstairs apartment whilst the refurb was completed on the downstairs one first. The first refurbishment took just over 2 weeks to complete. Because they were the same layout, we replicated the refurbishment (hence only one set of completion photos) and managed to get the second one completed within 10 days. We had a large contract waiting to move in, so knew we were working to a tight deadline. These apartments served greatly as Serviced Accommodation apartments but unfortunately during the pandemic guest’s requirements changed so they are now successfully rented out on a normal AST (Assured Shorthold Tenancy). Obviously before buying these properties the due diligence was carried out so we knew different strategies would work with these types of properties.
